A Short Wrap Up

Okay, I haven't blogged in a while so I thought that I would provide everyone with a quick wrap up of my life in the last two weeks.
  • Ashley came and we had a wonderful time.
  • Ashley left--not so wonderful.
  • I spent a week getting caught up and I write two fairly major papers for my classes, and I missed Ashley.
  • General Conference came and went--what a wonderful opportunity to listen and learn from the living prophet and apostles.
  • I missed Ashley.
  • I spent another week getting caught up on all of my classes.
  • I decided to try and present a paper at the Association for Asian American Studies Conference in New York City in April.
  • BYU won another game 47-17 against San Diego State.
  • We had a nice get together for the male, LDS graduate students with Peruvian Chicken.
  • I missed Ashley.
As you can see it has been a pretty eventful couple of weeks, but more than anything I just want to have my fiance and future wife in my arms. And if that isn't the cheesiest, most wonderful thing you've ever heard, I'm sure it will get worse in the coming weeks.

Understanding

"In the moral sphere, every act of justice or charity involves putting ourselves in the other person's place and thus transcending our own competitive particularity."
(C.S. Lewis, An Experiment in Criticism)
