Last night I was traveling home to Rexburg at about Midnight when I suddenly saw some flashing lights and heard a siren. I quickly pulled over and a very nice policeman had me roll down my window. I realized that I was probably going a few miles too fast because I was tired and wanted to get home, but I was honest and very polite. He seemed to feel sorry for me so he declined to write me a ticket. I have learned that common courtesy can go a long way in stressful situations. I guess I just got lucky this time, and I have learned my lesson--a fews miles an hour over the speed limit really do matter.
